La Nina is coming back but not all La Ninas are the same. Some are stronger than others and certain teleconnections such as solar activity, ocean temperatures need west Africa and many other factors can influence commodities and crops thousands of miles away.
The surge in natural gas prices recently was due to the hot U.S. summer and Gulf storms, but that could be coming to an end if the early winter is warm. Traders are also very concerned about the coffee crop in Brazil but if timely rains fall the next few months, the highs in coffee would be in.
